    String summary "A modified 1.7 m. meteorological/oceanographic buoy supplied by Axys Technologies of Sidney, British Columbia is located of the mouth of Holyrood Bay in approximately 50 metres of water. The buoy provides near-real time data in support of vessel operations in this area.The buoy is capable of measuring a variety of atmospheric and water column conditions including: wind speed and direction, air temperature, humidity, dew point, barometric pressure, water temperature, current profile, wave height, direction and period as well as wave spectral information.This buoy is part of SmartBay Holyrood, a technology development, testing, validation and demonstration facility to support applied research and commercialization of new technologies and solutions in the marine and related sectors. This includes testing and validation of a wide range of novel ocean sensors and subsea equipment.  The Holyrood buoy will provide a controlled environment for sensor calibration, as well as mission planning, practice and risk assessment for complicated subsea procedures prior to field execution.";
    String summary_fra "Une bouée météorologique/océanographique modifiée de 1,7 m. fournie par Axys Technologies de Sidney, en Colombie-Britannique, est située à l'embouchure de la baie Holyrood, dans environ 50 mètres d'eau. La bouée fournit des données en temps quasi réel à l'appui de l'exploitation des navires dans cette zone. La bouée est capable de mesurer diverses conditions atmosphériques et de la colonne d'eau, y compris la vitesse et la direction du vent, la température de l'air, l'humidité, le point de rosée, la pression barométrique, la température de l'eau, le profil du courant, la hauteur des vagues Cette bouée fait partie de SmartBay Holyrood, une installation de développement, de mise à l'essai, de validation et de démonstration de technologies visant à soutenir la recherche appliquée et la commercialisation de nouvelles technologies et de nouvelles solutions dans les secteurs maritime et connexe. Cela comprend la mise à l'essai et la validation d'une vaste gamme de nouveaux capteurs océaniques et de nouveaux équipements sous-marins. La bouée de Holyrood fournira un environnement contrôlé pour l'étalonnage des capteurs, ainsi que pour la planification de la mission, les pratiques et l'évaluation des risques pour les procédures sous-marines complexes avant l'exécution sur le terrain.";

Using tabledap to Request Data and Graphs from Tabular Datasets

tabledap lets you request a data subset, a graph, or a map from a tabular dataset (for example, buoy data), via a specially formed URL. tabledap uses the OPeNDAP (external link) Data Access Protocol (DAP) (external link) and its selection constraints (external link).

The URL specifies what you want: the dataset, a description of the graph or the subset of the data, and the file type for the response.

Tabledap request URLs must be in the form
https://coastwatch.pfeg.noaa.gov/erddap/tabledap/datasetID.fileType{?query}
For example,
https://coastwatch.pfeg.noaa.gov/erddap/tabledap/pmelTaoDySst.htmlTable?longitude,latitude,time,station,wmo_platform_code,T_25&time>=2015-05-23T12:00:00Z&time<=2015-05-31T12:00:00Z
Thus, the query is often a comma-separated list of desired variable names, followed by a collection of constraints (e.g., variable<value), each preceded by '&' (which is interpreted as "AND").

For details, see the tabledap Documentation.
