The buoy’s position (44 29.6001N, 063 30.5655W) (DD MM.MMMM). The BRIZO sensor is being sponsored by the Atlantic Pilotage Authority.\n\ncdm_data_type = TimeSeries\nVARIABLES:\nstation_name\ntime (Timestamp, seconds since 1970-01-01T00:00:00Z)\nlatitude (degrees_north)\nlongitude (degrees_east)\nprecise_lat (Precise Latitude, degrees_north)\nprecise_lon (Precise Longitude, degrees_east)\nbattery_level (Battery Voltage, V)\ntemperature (degree_C)\nwave_ht_sig (Sea Surface Wave Significant Height, m)\nwave_period_max (Sea Surface Wave Maximum Period, s)\nwave_ht_max (Sea Surface Wave Significant Height, m)\nwave_dir_avg (Sea Surface Wave To Direction, degree)\nwave_spread_avg (Wavespread, degree)\nsea_surface_wave_mean_period (Mean Zero-Upcrossing Period, s)\nsample_quality (1)\n | https://www.smartatlantic.ca/erddap/metadata/fgdc/xml/SmartAtlantic_XEOS_h1_buoy_fgdc.xml | https://www.smartatlantic.ca/erddap/metadata/iso19115/xml/SmartAtlantic_XEOS_h1_buoy_iso19115.xml | https://www.smartatlantic.ca/erddap/info/SmartAtlantic_XEOS_h1_buoy/index.htmlTable | https://www.smartatlantic.ca/station_alt.html?id=halifax_h1 | https://www.smartatlantic.ca/erddap/rss/SmartAtlantic_XEOS_h1_buoy.rss | https://www.smartatlantic.ca/erddap/subscriptions/add.html?datasetID=SmartAtlantic_XEOS_h1_buoy&showErrors=false&email= | XEOS | SmartAtlantic_XEOS_h1_buoy

Developed by Xeos Technologies, it is a breakthrough product on the market that provides significant wave height, maximum wave height, peak wave period, average wave direction, and average wave spread. It was installed on the HK4 navigational buoy in the Halifax Harbour near Meagher's Beach.\n\nWhen the Port Authority raised a need for capturing wave data at this location, Xeos Technologies was happy to provide and install its own wave height sensor for the SmartAtlantic project. It is an opportunity to aid in the environmental monitoring of harbor conditions.\n\ncdm_data_type = TimeSeries\nVARIABLES:\nstation_name\ntime (Timestamp, seconds since 1970-01-01T00:00:00Z)\nlatitude (degrees_north)\nlongitude (degrees_east)\nprecise_lon (Precise Longitude, degrees_east)\nprecise_lat (Precise Latitude, degrees_north)\nwave_ht_sig (Sea Surface Wave Significant Height, m)\nwave_period_max (Sea Surface Wave Maximum Period, s)\nwave_ht_max (Sea Surface Wave Significant Height, m)\nwave_dir_avg (Sea Surface Wave To Direction, degree)\nwave_spread_avg (Wavespread, degree)\n | https://www.smartatlantic.ca/erddap/metadata/fgdc/xml/SmartAtlantic_XEOS_hk4_buoy_fgdc.xml | https://www.smartatlantic.ca/erddap/metadata/iso19115/xml/SmartAtlantic_XEOS_hk4_buoy_iso19115.xml | https://www.smartatlantic.ca/erddap/info/SmartAtlantic_XEOS_hk4_buoy/index.htmlTable | https://www.smartatlantic.ca/station_alt.html?id=halifax_hk4 | https://www.smartatlantic.ca/erddap/rss/SmartAtlantic_XEOS_hk4_buoy.rss | https://www.smartatlantic.ca/erddap/subscriptions/add.html?datasetID=SmartAtlantic_XEOS_hk4_buoy&showErrors=false&email= | XEOS | SmartAtlantic_XEOS_hk4_buoy
